Malala Yousafzai is an outspoken strong young girl. When Malala was fourteen she found out that the Taliban had a death threat against her because of her strong beliefs that women should be educated. Malala thought that the Taliban wouldn't hurt a little girl, but she thought wrong. After she found out the Taliban were attacking girl schools in Swat she gave a speech in Pakistan in 2009. Malala tried so hard for girls to be able to have education. "Education is neither eastern nor western. Education is education and it's the right of every human being." ( Malala Yousafzai) On October 9, 2012 Malala was on the bus on her way home from school and a Taliban group came on the bus and asked for Malala. The Taliban then shot her in the head and then the bullet traveled down her neck. Malala was in critical condition, but this strong young girl survived.
